Geographic Solutions Welcomes Max Schelkopf as Business Development Executive for the Midwest

Geographic Solutions is pleased to announce that Max Schelkopf has joined the company as Business Development Executive for the Midwestern Region. He will lead business development efforts across the Midwest, helping workforce agencies use innovative technology to improve service delivery and workforce outcomes.

Schelkopf will work closely with workforce agencies to expand adoption of Geographic Solutions' workforce development platform. His focus will include identifying opportunities to streamline operations, increase access to services, and improve outcomes for job seekers, employers, and workforce professionals.

Schelkopf brings extensive experience in workforce technology and public sector consulting. Before joining Geographic Solutions, he served as a Senior Consultant at Engage by Cell, helping workforce organizations implement communication and engagement technologies that strengthened outreach, increased program participation, and improved communication between case managers and clients.

Throughout his career, Schelkopf has worked with workforce agencies across more than 30 states and territories to deliver technology solutions that drive measurable results. He has also presented at state workforce development conferences on using technology to increase participation and improve program outcomes.

Geographic Solutions Hires Tobi Cates as Senior Manager of Customer Success and Growth

Geographic Solutions announces the addition of Tobi Cates as the company’s Senior Manager of Customer Success and Growth.

Cates brings over 21 years of combined experience in the private and public sectors with a proven track record of successfully modernizing state systems and fostering innovation in public sector technology. In her new role, Cates will focus on enhancing client success, strengthening key relationships with state and local agencies, increasing product adoption, and driving market growth within the Unemployment Insurance (UI) and workforce development industries. She will also be the primary UI sales representative in the western half of the United States.

In her previous role, Cates served as Director of Workforce Services at eSystems, Inc., where she led client engagement and business development for the unemployment insurance and workforce division. She also managed proposal efforts and consultative sales to state agencies. Before that, Tobi worked at FAST Enterprises as a UI Industry Consultant, focusing on developing vertical and horizontal sales relationships across government agencies and advising C-suite executives on market intelligence and client engagement strategies. Cates holds a B.A. in Communications from Thomas Edison State University in New Jersey.

Workforce Development Industry Veteran, Chad Carter, Joins Geographic Solutions as Senior Client Services Executive

Geographic Solutions is thrilled to welcome Chad Carter as the company’s new Senior Client Services Executive.

In his new role, Carter will focus on building and strengthening relationships with clients and stakeholders, as well as providing valuable training and learning opportunities for both internal teams and external audiences. He will also serve as a key resource for business development, conduct on-site client visits to gather direct feedback, as well as attend industry and government events.

Carter joins Geographic Solutions following 11 years as the Director of Workforce Programs and Systems for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development. In his previous role, he managed teams dedicated to strengthening connections between job seekers and employers through innovative programs and system implementations. Chad earned a BA in Organizational Communication from the State University of New York - Regents. Prior to his time in the public sector, he primarily worked in Human Resources and Talent Acquisition within the defense and aerospace industries.

Geographic Solutions is excited to announce the recent hiring of Jeff Fitzgerald as the company’s new Western Regional Business Development Executive.

In his new role, Fitzgerald will focus on fostering new business relationships with labor agencies across the western region of the United States while working closely with current clients to meet their evolving business needs and help them maximize their return on investment. He will also conduct product demonstrations, contribute to the development of marketing collateral and proposals, and provide insight and direction for the company’s current and future software solutions.

Fitzgerald has over 19 years of experience working in state and local government agencies and federal programs. Jeff began his public sector career with the City of Denver administering several labor and employment programs, including operating Denver’s American Job Centers. Most recently, Jeff worked for the U.S. Department of Labor as the Enterprise Program Manager, where he led the implementation of the Employment and Training Administration’s first national UI Tiger Team – a consultative service for states which addressed national policies and operational challenges resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic. Prior to working with the U.S. Department of Labor, Jeff served as the UI Division Director for the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment for nine years.

He brings 18 years of software development, architecture, analysis, project management, and technical integration in Enterprise applications to the company.

Before joining Geographic Solutions, Stevens served as the Vice President of Technology at Chargebacks911 where he led a large team of developers working with worldwide merchants and financial banking institutions to build chargeback management solutions. Prior to that, Stevens was the Director of Client Systems Engineering for Visa Inc., responsible for a team of developers and contractors developing applications aimed at strengthening relationships between Visa and its financial partners.

Geographic Solutions Names Mitchell Dimler Director Of Data Services To Lead New Product Development

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – (March 1, 2021) – Geographic Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, unemployment processing and labor market information, has named Mitchell Dimler as its Director of Data Services. He brings more than 30 years of business, strategic and tactical experience in high-tech markets to the company.

“Mitch will lead our efforts to create data-driven solutions to tackle customer pain-points,” said Paul Toomey, president and founder of Geographic Solutions. “His collaboration with our sales, technology and business teams will accelerate our ability to move from concept to delivery of IT solutions that create value for our clients.”

Prior to joining Geographic Solutions, Dimler worked at global companies such as DirecTV and Phoenix Technologies Inc. As vice president of architecture and technology at TransAmerica Corp., Dimler was instrumental in its merger with Aegon Corp. He was also chief information officer at InSilicon, a startup that went public in 2001 and was later acquired by Synopsys.

Dimler holds six patents and has worked for venture capital firms to deploy and structure technology for newly formed and mid-level corporations. Most recently, he served as information technology director at HealthAxis Group in Tampa, Florida. Before that, he created and deployed a strategic plan to strengthen the information technology department at Argus, a Tampa-based health service organization.

Hines III, the organization’s newest Business Development Executive for Unemployment Insurance. Hines earned a Juris Doctorate from the Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, FL, and he is a member in good standing of the Florida State Bar. He brings a wealth of experience to the company’s Marketing Department, including an extensive background in the workforce and unemployment sectors within Florida’s state government.

Prior to joining Geographic Solutions, Hines worked with the Department of Economic Opportunity’s Office of Reemployment Assistance as Deputy Director where he managed a $90 million budget and 700 employees statewide. In that role, he increased performance in key federal measures by 50%. Hines has a breadth of knowledge and real-world experience navigating the workforce and unemployment domains.

In his new role with Geographic Solutions, Hines will focus on developing new relationships with labor agencies across the United States while nurturing current clients and marketing the Geographic Solutions Unemployment System (GUS) solution, a Custom-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solution that encourages rapid reemployment, helps reduce the depletion rate for the UI trust funds, and assists in decreasing tax rates.

Continuing its commitment to superior customer service, Geographic Solutions, Inc. has added a new regional manager to its team of workforce development professionals.

Ray Hollingsworth, a 25-year workforce development veteran, will help regions and states nationwide take advantage of Geographic Solutions' innovative workforce development products.

Hollingsworth, a former Deputy Commissioner of the Georgia Department of Labor, is based out of Atlanta as Geographic Solutions' Southeastern Regional Manager.
