2026 Workforce Technology Conference

About The Conference

Geographic Solutions' annual Workforce Technology Conference is the premier learning and networking conference bringing together a community of workforce development professionals, unemployment compensation specialists, education and career advisors, program managers, youth specialists, reentry employment leaders, rehabilitation specialists, and more! This year’s conference, focused on the intricacies of employment, will be held June 29 - July 2, 2026, in beautiful Monterey, California.

Ahead of many software-as-a-service trends, we continue to develop new functionality for VOS Sapphire AI. This not only continued the theme of VOS Sapphire as one system that can seamlessly manage it all – labor exchange, case management, unemployment, vocational rehabilitation, human services, partner programs, education services, and corrections – but further defined it as the more intelligent way to work.

In short, whatever makes you comfortable! Our conference is casual. Most attendees wear casual business wear during the daytime sessions. Attendees can expect cool, mild weather with average highs in the mid-60s Fahrenheit and lows in the low 50s Fahrenheit, often accompanied by morning fog known as ‘June gloom’, so packing layers is highly recommended.

All conference rooms will have A/C set at a temperature to accommodate large groups, so you may want to layer up, just in case. We recommend bringing a small pullover jacket for your daily sessions. Receptions in the evening are more casual and usually outside. We recommend warmer attire for those events. In the event of rain, evening receptions will be held inside.

We kindly ask that you not bring personal guests to the after-hours networking socials unless you have purchased a guest pass for your guest. Each event (Welcome Reception and President’s Reception are separate tickets). As you are probably aware, there is a cost per person associated with all events we are coordinating. We appreciate your understanding. Guest ticket link is available on your registration receipt. All networking events are 21+.

Yes! Speaker slide decks will be available to download as a PDF via the Geographic Solutions Virtual Community Forum in the days following the event.
