On Veterans Day, we're taking a moment to recognize all veterans, past, present, and future, and thank them for their service.
In the workplace, veterans bring significant value through their education, experience, and leadership skills. For the more than 200,000 service members that return from active duty and transition to civilian life each year, the change in routine can be challenging, however, and often time presents unforeseen barriers. This can be especially true when it come to finding suitable employment.
As a core part of our product line, we help service men and women find jobs. In Florida and North Carolina, our partners at the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity and the North Carolina Department of Commerce have worked with veterans to launch custom entrances into their workforce systems. These branded micro portals are designed specifically to assist veterans and their families with accomplishing their employment goals.
Geographic Solutions employs many veterans, and each has a unique story that highlights their time in service. In all, we were able to capture the stories of 10 veterans.
