New ideas are capitalized on when best practices are shared; and our user community grows and learns from one another when we come together. We encourage you to make use of our numerous training and learning opportunities listed below. While some opportunities are geared towards our mass user group, other can be requested and made available on a per client basis. Staff Spotlight: Keys to Helping Employers be Self Sufficient

VOS Sapphire AI is designed to make it easy for employers to perform employment related tasks on their own. In this session we’ll explore different areas of the system from the employer’s point of view, enabling them to post jobs, search for job candidates, and create search agents to find the ideal candidate for their open jobs.
Important Updates – As of February, Lunchtime Learning is moving to a new format! Beginning with the February 25th session, Lunchtime Learning will now be hosted in Microsoft Teams. We will still provide recordings of all sessions and additional resources as they are created. All communication will continue to come from the same place and the schedule remains unchanged.

Understanding Structured Query Language (SQL)
Lunchtime Learning | March
Structured Query Language, better known as SQL, is a domain-specific language used in programming, and designed for managing data, or for streamlining a relational data stream management system. In other words, it is the coding language that sits behind the Geographic Solutions VOS Sapphire® system. To better understand how things work, and to maximize the return on our client’s investment, GSI is offering a special 8-session course to not only learn SQL, but to also become more proficient and responsive in important day-to-day functions such as reporting and searching.

Understanding SQL will be conducted on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM Eastern Time, beginning Thursday, April 9, 2026, through May 4, 2026 with a special kick-off call on April 2nd and a post-course review session included. Advance registration is required. All sessions are recorded and made available to registrants, both during the course and after.
