Geographic Solutions Announces Hire of Customer Engagement Specialist

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – (January 27, 2022) – Geographic Solutions, the nation’s leading provider of software solutions for workforce development, unemployment insurance, and labor market information, is pleased to announce the recent hiring of Bob Birge as Customer Engagement Specialist.

In this role, Birge will focus on working with Geographic Solutions’ customers to better understand their evolving business needs, help them maximize their return on investment, share best practices, and obtain user feedback to guide future development efforts.

“We are honored and excited to welcome Bob to our team,” said Deane Toler, Director of Sales and Marketing for Geographic Solutions. “His experience with state-level workforce gives him a unique perspective on the day-to-day use of our software, the needs of our clients, and how our software can be leveraged for future opportunities and improved levels of efficiency.”

Most recently, Birge was the Chief Communications Officer for the Indiana Department of Workforce Development where he was responsible for all internal and external communications and marketing initiatives. He also served as Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing Officer for Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. In this role, he was responsible for all internal and external communications and marketing for the regional airline, whose clients included American Airlines, Delta Airlines, and United Airlines.

Birge earned a B.A. in Motion Picture/Television from the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a member of the National Association of Workforce State Agencies Association (NASWA), a Past President of the Indianapolis Public Relations Society, and a Past President of the Public Relations Society of America, Hoosier Chapter.
