Earlier this summer, we hosted the 2018 Workforce Technology Conference at the Wyndham Grand Resort on Clearwater Beach. Our annual client summit attracted more than 220 workforce development professionals, representing 98 distinct agencies in 30 states from across the United States. A group of 80 attendees also participated in pre-conference training on Virtual OneStop® reporting and labor market tools.
This year, attendees had more presentations to choose from than ever before. Industry leaders and Geographic Solutions subject matter experts presented on a variety of topics, including unemployment insurance, labor market data, case management, current legislation, career tools for students, staff efficiency, and more.
And where one conference sails into the horizon, another appears. We've already set the gears in motion for 2019's client summit, taking place in Monterey, California. Stay tuned for more information in the next few weeks announcing the opening of registration.
