A new look and a new face are helping Geographic Solutions continue to serve its growing customer base in the West.
According to Geographic Solutions president Paul Toomey, a larger office in downtown Salinas, California and the addition of 12-year human resources veteran Loretta Hanson as Western Region Project Manager reinforce the company's commitment to remaining the industry leader in workforce development solutions.
The expanded presence will help us support the tremendous growth that we have experienced in the western region during the past year," Toomey said. "Our increased capacity will allow us to continue to provide the best possible service and expand our customer base in the area."
The Salinas facility will oversee the marketing, sales and project management for the companies workforce development systems, including Virtual OneStop, its comprehensive one-stop operating system software; CRS - Consumer Reporting System; LMIWeb Tools; and GeoSurvey, its local labor market study.
The office, located at 905 Padre Drive in Salinas, has managers for the operations in California, Arizona, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Alaska, and Hawaii. A data center will also be established at the facility for customer support.
Hanson is a former customer of Geographic Solutions, having worked for the Concera Corporation in Kern County.
"I was very pleased with the strong customer service, and the commitment to see our project (in Kern County) through," Hanson said. "Geographic Solutions produced a system for Concera that enhanced our ability to service our participants and to track performance outcomes. Virtual OneStop is the most amazing system I have ever seen. It does it all."
Hanson has over 12 years of experience in Human Services, with the last four years focusing on Welfare to Work/Welfare Reform. She has thorough working knowledge of governmental policies and procedures and is able to work effectively with collaborative partners, as she understands and shares their objectives.
