PALM HARBOR, FL – (January 11, 2017) – The Indiana Department of Workforce Development (DWD), in partnership with software development company Geographic Solutions, Inc., recently expanded IndianaCareerConnect.com to include case management and federal reporting. The new integrated system provides functionality that will improve services available to job seekers and employers across Indiana, as well as assist workforce staff with managing services provided under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA).
“The new integrated system will allow DWD to uniformly collect data across the State, leading to improved programs and services throughout Indiana’s workforce system,” said Steven J. Braun, DWD Commissioner. “These upgrades are another step in DWD’s transformation from being viewed as the unemployment office to an employment agency, utilizing data and technology to strategically meet the needs of Hoosier employers and job seekers.”

IndianaCareerConnect.com has become a primary destination for job seekers and employers since it launched in 2008. The system upgrade provides a comprehensive solution that will continue to connect job seekers with employers and give staff the ability to manage workforce programs more efficiently.
