CARSON CITY — The Employment Security Division of the Nevada Department of Employment, Training and Rehabilitation announced the launch of EmployNV.
JobConnect/DETR, in collaboration with Nevadaworks and Workforce Connections, developed EmployNV as Nevada’s new career and job search engine designed to assist job seekers and businesses in meeting their employment and recruitment needs.
EmployNV is the state’s online job resource where businesses can post job listings and job seekers can find local and statewide employment information, said Lynda Parven, deputy administrator for the Employment Security Division.
In addition to numerous other resources, labor market data will be readily available on the site.
“DETR and JobConnect are always looking for innovative ways to serve the public, therefore we are excited to implement this user-friendly piece of technology that will put Nevada’s employment and job search services right at our customers’ fingertips, 24 hours a day, seven days a week with no waiting,” Parven said. “Both businesses and job seekers benefit from the new service by matching up potential employees with promising job openings.”
There are no costs or fees to use EmployNV, which provides comprehensive services in a user-friendly online experience. To access the new EmployNV, visit www.EmployNV.gov. Users may also gain access to the site through DETR’s website and the Nevada JobConnect website at www.nevadajobconnect.com and www.nvdetr.org.
