The Texas Workforce Commission moved $10 million into a skills development fund. This investment marks a concerted effort to help job seekers upskill and boost their job search efforts. With more than two million Texans out of work, these workfroce development efforts couldn't be better timed. The state spent $1.7 million for everyone to have access to Metrix Learning, with than 5,000 courses, so state residents can learn new skills and take the next step in their careers.
