District of Columbia Upgrades Its Unemployment Insurance Benefits System

The District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES), in partnership with Geographic Solutions, recently upgraded its unemployment insurance (UI) benefits system. With this upgrade comes an increase in secure transactions. The system now requires claimants to verify through ID.me, which simplifies and secures the UI claims application process and delivers payments faster.
